Servicing primarily second homes in Central New Hampshire, Sakin Home specializes in major home renovations including beautiful kitchens, baths and full remodels. We also have a plumber on staff to install the perfect heating/cooling system or water filtration for your primary/vacation home.
We are a small, local business that Gary officially started in 2008, but had been building as a side job since 2000. The large majority of our business is referrals and repeat clients, and we believe they continue to choose us because of 1) the quality of our work and 2) we live by The Golden Rule. We do this not only because it’s the right thing to do, but it’s how we want to be treated in our own lives. We truly believe you get back what you put out.
So what does that mean to our clients? It means being open and honest about the costs of the job, timeline and potential issues. It means no hidden pricing. It means a printed Scope of Work and signed contract. It means using software so you can log in and see daily updates and photos of your renovation. It means we realize that you are trusting us with your home, so we are careful to protect your property. We prep the area to protect your belongings, use dust control and we have a cleaner come in after. It means we are proud to wear branded shirts and drive around with our logo on our truck because we stand behind our reputation. We are proud of the name Sakin Home because it doesn’t just reflect our pride in our work, but how we treat our clients and neighbors. Community is important and how you treat people MATTERS.
But don’t take our word for it. Click here to see what our clients have to say about working with us.

Gary has been building for what seems like his entire life, officially starting Sakin Home in 2008. In addition to his quality of work, his clients will likely tell you their favorite part of working with Gary is his communication. He knows how important transparency is. His experience allows him to offer realistic pricing and timelines in the initial conversation. Less surprises, less headaches. More photos and daily logs = happier clients. That’s how he built Sakin Home – solely on word of mouth.
He didn’t write this bio and he would never say this about himself, but he’s genuinely a good guy. He’s a neighborly guy who wants to set a good example for his children. He’s the guy who stops to help someone with a flat tire on the highway. The guy who always donates extra, and who helps an elderly person carry their groceries to the car. When you’re working together, he’s going to be professional and treat you like a neighbor.
Erika has worked in small business development and marketing her entire career. She’s also a licensed Realtor, and just prior to coming onboard full time to Sakin Home, she acted as the Director of Growth and Development for Keller Williams Lakes and Mountains. In this role, she quadrupled the agent count within 5 years, and these agents successfully boasted 25% market share in most counties in NH. Her success at Keller Williams is a testament to the fundamentals of building a good business…take care of the people first. Shifting to her work at Sakin Home, that translates into how we treat our customers and sub-contractors. Treating people like family with honesty and open communication, and keeping them informed of the jobs’ progress with photos and daily logs.
Outside of work and family, Erika is passionate about health and wellness and enjoys making various crafts. She especially enjoys themed holiday dinners – ask her about “feetloaf” for Halloween and her April Fool’s dinner 🙂
