Our Dependable Remodeling Process

We understand that trusting a contractor on your major home renovation is a very big deal. We also understand that communicating our process to you is a very big deal. Being in the remodeling business for over 20 years, with hundreds of happy clients, we have learned that transparency is key. You should know who we are, what to expect, and the steps we take to protect your home. You should know the Scope of Work, have a signed contract, and what to do if hiccups arise. The details of a bathroom renovation are obviously different from a new deck, but generally speaking, the overall process is the same. Let’s start building trust with outlining that process:

Fill Out Our Form & Set Up a Phone Consultation

We’ll start the process by having an honest conversation about your project, and the easiest way to do that is if you provide some basic information here about what you have in mind. Providing photos and talking about your timeline/budget will allow us to give you a pretty good idea of the cost and scope of work right away.

On-site Consultation

Next, we visit your property. We charge a professional on-site consultation fee of $150 – $500, depending on the size of the project. Here, we’ll talk in detail about your renovation and give you thoughts on potential hiccups. We have a gas-certified, professional plumber on staff with over 20 years of experience to offer his insight and guidance. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions about any other project you were thinking about. If we move forward, the consultation fee is credited back to you on final payment.

Design & Planning Phase

There are a lot of details to review with any home renovation and we have steps in place to help. We have custom bathroom packages to minimize design fatigue. We’ll bring up points to consider to make the construction process easier on your daily life. We’ll talk about the timeline of materials to choose, and work-arounds if those materials are delayed. We’ll get a clear understanding of your vision and talk about how we’ll bring that to life.

Written Scope of Work and Contract

Honest conversations and proper planning mean few surprises for you. Your written Scope of Work and signed contract will spell out the agreed upon budget, timeline, and materials. While we cannot guarantee there won’t be any hiccups along the way, all of our prior planning and 20+ years of experience minimize surprises, and we are able to complete your renovation within the proposed timeline and budget.

We get to work!

First, we prep your home to protect your belongings. As materials arrive, we inspect for damages upon arrival. We use dust control to keep the space as clean as possible. We even make sure any pets in the home are taken care of. Our communication software (link to video) will show you photos and daily updates along the way. As most of our renovations are on vacation homes, our clients especially appreciate this communication.

We clean your home

Our professional clean up crew makes sure to sweep up any dust, vacuum or shine the floors and make your windows sparkle. You’ll be so happy to walk into your clean home, so all you have to do is enjoy your new space.

Post Construction

Our follow up and warranty. Our goal is to make this such a positive experience for you, that you’ll be happy to leave us a review or recommend us to a friend. After all, that’s how our whole business was built. So our commitment to you doesn’t stop after the job is complete. We’re going to check in and make sure you are pleased with our work. We also offer a 5 year warranty on systems and labor, along with manufacturers’ warranty.
