Chris White performs solo

The Chris White Band is an epic acoustic rock band hailing from the NH Lakes Region.  The band was created under the original influences of Chris White in 2006.  The group started as an acoustic duo featuring Chris White on vocals and guitar, and Johnny O’Neill on hand percussion, as well as bass.  In 2008 the duo turned trio with the added likable amazing sound of Jacob Stern on fiddle.  The trio recorded an Ep entitled “8 Songs” in Chris’ basement, which is available on this website, and also on iTunes.

Throughout the further following years the band continued on with several different members including Mike Forcier on drums, Andrew Eckel on bass, Dave Couture on lead, and Brian Cornish on horns (both Andrew and Brian can be heard on the bands second album entitled “North” recorded in 2010/12, available on this website).

From 2011 until current the band members have been fairly consistent.  Robert Henshaw joined the band in the summer of 2011 on lead guitar as well as Phil Barber on bass.  The band recorded 4 songs in the spring of 2012 which helped complete the unfinished album started by White, Eckel, O’Neill, and Cornish in 2010.

Currently the band can be found playing throughout NH and other surrounding areas.  Their extensive setlist consists of a range of fun and upbeat covers including Blackstreet, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, the Meters, Dave Matthews Band, James Brown, Sublime, and Stevie Wonder to name a few.  The band is also familiar with many easy going more contemporary cover songs as well such as: Ed Sheeran, the Lumineers, Otis Redding, Jack Johnson, Dispatch, Guster, Bob Marley, and Tracy Chapman.

Dave Couture has been added back in on bass, with Phil Barber filling in on keys, or as needed on bass.
