PART 3: Found! Extra Storage Solutions (After Your Renovation)

It is such an exciting day when your condo renovation is complete!  You have your space to yourself again and can enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or invite friends over and entertain in your beautiful new kitchen.  But one thing we know for sure is you will likely keep accumulating stuff and you’ll need a place to put it.  Especially in Lincoln and Waterville Valley, NH – we’re outside in all kinds of weather! So to round out part three of our Found! Storage Solutions for your Vacation Condo series, here are even more storage solutions for your small spaces.

Storage solutions for your vacation condo

Take advantage of the “dead” space found all over your vacation condo in NH.

1 & 2: Multi-Functional Furniture: In a small space, every piece of furniture should serve more than one purpose. It’s the key to maximizing storage without sacrificing style.  Think about storage beds and ottomans, lift-top coffee tables and headboards with built-in shelving.  How about a wine bar built into your dining table?  And don’t forget multi-function furniture for your outside space!

3. Pull-Out Pantry: Install a pull-out pantry in narrow spaces between appliances. It’s the perfect space for cleaning supplies or spices.

4. Over-the-Door Organizers: You can maximize every inch of space with over-the-door organizers everywhere in your condo.  Think about over-the-door organizers for shoes for accessories in your bedroom closet, and personal care and first aid in your bathroom linen closet. And don’t forget your kitchen!  You can use that precious space inside your kitchen pantry door for snacks, spice packets, canned goods, or condiments.  Inside your kitchen cabinets, you can store frequently used kitchen tools, or lids for tupperware or pots.

5. There is even more storage space on the sides of your kitchen cabinets.  Floating shelves make a great coffee bar while hanging baskets provide functional storage for fruits and vegetables. Attach a magnetic strip to hold knives or hang small planters on the sides of the cabinet to create a vertical herb garden. There are so many possibilities!

With these smart storage solutions, you can keep your vacation condo in the White Mountains organized, clutter-free, and ready for relaxation. Whether you’re maximizing closet space, utilizing multi-functional furniture, or organizing your kitchen and entryway, these tips will help you create a serene and welcoming environment in your home away from home. By optimizing every inch of your condo, you’ll ensure that your vacation retreat is always ready for your next getaway—or for welcoming guests.
